Lenovo’s Essential G series budget laptop lineup has been expanded by the company and now two new models are available, the 15.6-inch Lenovo G570 and 14″ Lenovo G470. The two models come powered with second Generation Intel Core processors which could be up to Core i5. The memory is up to 4GB of DDR3. Both G470 and G570 are also equipped with Intel’s integrated HD Graphics 3000, 500GB hard drive, and a DVD burner or Blu-ray combo drive.
Other features of the new Essential notebooks are the following: 1366×768 LED backlight displays, AccuType keyboards with individual rounded keys, single-piece brush-metal interior paneling around the keyboard and a smooth top cover. There is also a built-in webcam for the two models, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capability. The operating system bundled with the new Essential series is Windows 7 Home Premium. The price of the G470 starts at $699 while the G570 starts at $799.
