The newest version of the iPad tablet, the iPad 2, is expected to be launched on March 2nd. This is just a rumor but there are some strong indications that March 2nd will be the date that the newest iPad will be launched: first, Apple has sent out press invites a few days ago for an event on March 2. Then, according to some sources, the invites include “an image of iOS calendar icon that peels away to reveal an iPad device.” If these rumors are true then we can expect to have a glimpse of the new iPad within 48 hours. The said event will take place at the BBC Television Centre in London.
What can we expect of the new iPad? Again rumors has it that the new iPad will be thinner. It is said that it will have front and rear cameras. As to muscles, it will surely have more: bigger RAM, a better and faster CPU, and of course a new version of iOS. Don’t expect to have changes with the display for it is rumored that the display will still be 9.7-inch.
There images leaked on the web that are said to be of the new iPad, but don’t bet so much on them becaue theycould be just mock ups. Anyways, it is just 48 hours away (if the rumors are true) and we’d be seeing the newest iPad.
