Google Chrome OS Netbook Coming Out on December 7th
It’s not official yet, but it seems that the long wait for Google’s Chrome OS netbook is going to end on December 7th. According to the tech site Engadget.com they have some sources that told them that Google will be holding a press event in San Francisco on Tuesday to announce the Chrome OS netbook. Engadget also posted images of the netbook’s supposed keyboard and mentioned that the netbook will be Atom-powered. But don’t expect to get hold of the Chrome OS netbook soon because it won’t be rolling out in stores, the cloud-based OS is still very much in beta and Google will be rolling out around 65,000 netbooks only, a number that is good only for Google’s closest friends.
